Anxiety and Prayer

I unfortunately deal with anxiety a lot, everyday actually. I try to ignore it or move on, but it lingers. Letting it get to you can be and is unhealthy. When I have problems with anxiety I try distract myself or pray or both. Playing games or listening to my favorite music and singing along helps. But I have found that only through prayer I can truly find peace within the “attacks.” I mainly pray Philippians 4:6-7. A good prayer to pray when you are going through a lot. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God that transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
